After years of research, Selene has developed a hooder film with an extension of up to 150% with a triple holding force compared to traditional products. How stretch hood is applied to the pallet: The hooder film is made from a continuous roll of gusseted film. Each roll weights about between 800 lbs. – 1100 lbs. Stretch hood film can only be applied by the stretch hood machines. A roll load is brought to the stretch hood machine by forklift. The stretch hood machine cuts the stretch hood film, seals the top, stretches the film, the machine draws the plastic film downward to the bottom of the pallet, and releases it. After releasing the film by the machine, the plastic film shrinks to the proper dimensions, without using heat. This gives excellent holding force to the film.
